Objectives:
- Comprehensive literacy assessment planning across grade levels, tiers of instruction, and content areas in Gr. 7-12
- Types and purposes of adolescent literacy assessments
- Systems for date analysis and application of assessment analysis in instruction
Recommended Audience:
Educators in leadership roles such as:
- curriculum directors
- special education directors
- building administrators

- teacher leaders

- Review critical components for the development of an MTSS Framework with embedded systems for advancing equity
- Provide high leverage overview of Literacy framework and practices to advance equity for all students
- Provide a high lever overview of PBIS/Climate and Culture framework and practices to advance equity for all students (SEL/Trauma informed Care embedded)

- This training is a required professional development training for districts and community schools who have been identified as being disproportionate on their Special Education Profiles.
- Please note this training is open to any district, school, team, or person who wants to build capacity in understanding integrated systems frameworks of support that can help to reduce disproportionality in special education.
Objectives:
- Provide a high leverage overview on how the implementation of an integrated systems framework of prevention & intervention can assist with advancing equitable educational practices that can help to reduce the disproportionate identification, placement, and discipline of students with disabilities.
- This session will incorporate some essential components from the Advancing Equity Through and MTSS Framework Professional Development Series.
- Explore strategies for improving existing policies, practices and procedures.

- Any district or community school who have received a required action for disproportionality must attend.
