April 17, 2024Description: This virtual session will provide information to assist participants in reducing disproportionality and increase equitable outcomes for students with disabilities by exploring systemic strategies for improving policies, practices, procedures, and overall systemic structures.
**Please note that this training is open to all districts/community schools BUT specifically for those districts/community schools who are identified with required actions for Indicators 9/10 & Significant Disproportionality.
Objectives:
- Participants will explore strategies for leveraging an MTSS integrated systems framework to advance Equity.
- Participants will explore strategies for improving policies, practices, and procedures to reduce disproportionality.
- Participants will engage in community of practice activities with other participants to share ideas, successes, and challenges.
Recommended Audience:
- District Leaders (e.g., Pupil personnel, Special Ed Supervisors, Curriculum), Principals (preschool-secondary), Early Childhood Supervisors, Teachers, Intervention Specialists, Related Services Providers, Department Leads, EL, etc.
