School Suspensions are an Adult Behavior

Recently, in both our Tier I training and Tier I coaching sessions, we have focused on Responding to Challenging Behaviors.  A number of factors can effect behavior, from returning to buildings from remote learning to becoming antsy as the weather gets warmer and the year winds down.  Whatever the cause, it is important to remember that behavior is defined by the adult that it bothers. It is important for our discipline system to be proactive, consistent, predictable, and safe.  The video below has some good reminders for us all.
