Description: This online session is designed for participants to spend time reviewing the standards considering developmentally appropriate practices within a preschool setting.
***IMPORTANT - PREREQUISITE NECESSARY***
The Early Learning and Development Standards Overview Training is online and must first be accessed through the Ohio Professional Registry (OPR) housed at occra.org
You must complete this 2 hour online training before you can register for Standards in the context of Developmentally Appropriate Practice: Preschool. You can register at occra.org using ST10129633 in the Search Event Title box.
Objectives:
- Analyze and provide examples of developmentally appropriate practices in preschool settings.
- Explore learning experiences that integrate preschool children's learning within and across early learning and developmental domains.
- Describe ways to differentiate instructional appropriates to match each preschool child's interests, knowledge, and skills.
Recommended Audience: Early learning teachers, assistants, paraprofessionals, administrators
Location: Virtual. Zoom link will be sent to registrants prior to the session
