Adolescent Literacy Leaders Network Session #1: Quality of Instruction

Description:

District and school leaders will explore high leverage resources/tools and share their work regarding support and gathering data on the quality of literacy instruction across all classrooms.

Objectives:

• Feature of high-quality literacy instruction across grade levels and content areas in Gr. 7-12
• Examples and uses of formal literacy fidelity rubrics
• Examples and uses of learning walkthrough tools

Recommended Audience: 

Educators in leadership roles such as:

• curriculum directors
• special education directors
• building administrators
• coaches
• teacher leaders

*It is encouraged that a team includes individuals who have decision-making capacity within the school or district
