May 6, 2022Description: Participants will hear from districts experiencing success in making positive changes to literacy instruction and achievement through their work aligned with the Comprehensive Literacy State Development Grant. There will also be time for participants to ask questions related to experiences discussed.
Objectives: Attendees will learn about some of the strategies districts are currently using to promote continuous improvement in literacy achievement.

To provide any additional updates and answer questions regarding the Dyslexia Guidebook (awaiting final approval from the State Board) and answer questions regarding any misconceptions and what districts/schools can do to prepare for implementation.
Objectives:
- Provide a high leverage FAQ for districts and schools regarding the dyslexia guidebook
- Provide clarity where applicable, as it relates to any misconceptions around the implementation and implications of the dyslexia concepts that
- Provide additional resources as applicable.
Recommended Audience:
Educators in leadership roles such as:
- District Leadership Teams
- Building Leadership Teams
- Curriculum Directors
- Building Administrators
- Special Education Directors
- Literacy and PBIS Leaders
- General Educators and Teacher Leaders
- Related Services Providers/School Psychologists/Counselors *It is also highly encouraged that a team includes individuals who have decision-making capacity within the school or district.
