Title:

Advancing Equity Through an MTSS Framework

Description:

This is a two-part series.  Participants will be provided with a high leverage overview of critical components of an MTSS framework and how the framework can advance equity for ALL students through Literacy and PBIS/Climate and Culture

Objectives:

• Review critical components for the development of an MTSS Framework with embedded systems for advancing equity
• Provide high leverage overview of Literacy framework and practices to advance equity for all students
• Provide a high lever overview of PBIS/Climate and Culture framework and practices to advance equity for all students (SEL/Trauma informed Care embedded)

Recommended Audience: 

Educators in leadership roles such as:

• District Leadership Teams
• Building Leadership Teams
• Curriculum Directors
• Building Administrators
• Special Education Directors
• Literacy and PBIS Leaders
• General Educators and Teacher Leaders
• Related Services Providers/School Psychologists/Counselors
• *It is highly encouraged that a team includes individuals who have decision-making capacity within the school or district
