Ohio’s state support system includes 16 regional State Support Teams who use tools and knowledge to improve instructional practice and student outcomes by working with districts and buildings on improving systems they have in place. Our staff consists of Ohio educators who bring knowledge and experience to their work in systems change, special education, early learning and parent/family engagement. SST services are provided at no cost.
Megan HorstmeierEducational Consultant
Megan Horstmeier has 15 years of experience in education as a classroom teacher, science coordinator, and administrator. She has a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Cincinnati. Megan has led multiple buildings in implementing new curriculums and improving instruction. She has provided professional development in areas such as school climate, PBIS, and formative assessment. Megan’s background in working with at-risk schools provides a unique understanding of the school improvement process.
Megan is currently working with State Support Team 13 assisting schools with the Ohio Improvement Process to improve outcomes for all students.
