Ohio’s state support system includes 16 regional State Support Teams who use tools and knowledge to improve instructional practice and student outcomes by working with districts and buildings on improving systems they have in place. Our staff consists of Ohio educators who bring knowledge and experience to their work in systems change, special education, early learning and parent/family engagement. SST services are provided at no cost.
Carolyn TurnerEducational and Regional Early Literacy Consultant
Carolyn Turner has over 20 years in education with an emphasis on early literacy. She has taught second, fifth, and eighth grades, as well as being a Title I literacy coach. As a Regional Early Literacy Specialist, she works with schools and districts in implementing scientifically-based practices around early literacy.
